About Dr N.M. Jadhav Foundation School
Established in 1995, Dr. N.M. Jadhav Foundation is proud to be the first school in Raigad District dedicated to providing treatment and special education for children with special needs. Since its inception, the foundation has been committed to identifying the unique needs of special children and ensuring early diagnosis and timely intervention.
Our school provides education in reading, writing, mathematics, and general knowledge according to students' intellectual abilities. Along with academics, students learn art, sports, painting, and handicrafts. The CBSE curriculum is implemented alongside the curriculum developed by Disha Abhiyan and the Divyang Welfare Commissionerate, Pune with the help of Logico Kit. Educational visits, excursions, and the celebration of festivals enrich practical learning and support students' social, cultural, and overall development.
Our Programs
Our programs are designed to support growth, learning, and independence at every stage.
Therapy
Our Therapy Program helps special children improve their fine motor and gross motor skills through various activities and exercises. These sessions enhance hand coordination, balance, movement, strength, and independence, supporting the child’s overall physical development and daily life skills.
Pre-Primary
Our Pre-Primary Program supports special children aged 6–14 years in learning foundational skills. We help students develop basic knowledge in Mathematics, Language, Art, and EVS through simple and engaging activities. The program also focuses on building essential daily habits such as communication, discipline, cleanliness, and social interaction, helping children become more confident and independent.
Pre-Vocational
Our Pre-Vocational Program supports special children aged 14–18 years in developing skills for greater independence in everyday life. Through practical activities, we help students learn real-world skills such as communication, self-care, time management, basic money handling, and responsibility. The program prepares them to become more confident, self-reliant, and ready for vocational training and daily life challenges.
Vocational
Our Vocational Program supports students aged 18 years and above by providing skill-based training for employment and independent living. Students receive hands-on training in creative arts, hospitality, housekeeping, kitchen garden terrace garden maintenance, and other vocational activities to develop practical skills and good work habits. The program helps build confidence, increase independence, improve productivity, and prepare students to become self-reliant and active members of society.
